The shop emailed a customer about one order, and this is the reply that came back to that email. We established that ourselves rather than taking the shop’s word for it. Whether the customer is the one who replied is checked on its own.
The sender?
The reply came from Andrew’s own address
The shop told us which address it wrote to, at the time it wrote, and the reply came back from that customer’s address. We are reading the address the email states it came from, which mail does not prove on its own, so that is all we claim here.
The email?
Signed by icloud.com, and the signature covers the address it came from
icloud.com signed this email as it was sent, and what it signed includes the From line. We kept the message exactly as it arrived and the signature still checks out.
